To be fair, I was wearing a Trans-Siberian Orchestra T-shirt when I met Elder Groberg. Of course, that was entirely unplanned, and had I known, I would have worn something more appropriate.
One - does Gore wear anything besides a suit when doing anything remotely public?
Two - If it wasn't for the fact that he is LDS, I wouldn't have thought anything about the way some pop musician dressed when meeting the prophet. But he is LDS, so I agree... FAIL.
Good point. Gore doesn't get any bonus points for it...but it's still an example of what to wear. And I'd argue that anyone that plans to meet the prophet should dress for it, just like I'd dress up to meet a prominent leader of another faith. Even if they are a pop star.
